Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown / IMC (Travel)

• Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit / Stepdown / IMC setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and utilize telemetry equipment as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (Cerner).
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during quick patient turnover and short stay cases.
• Float to other units as required, maintaining flexibility in staffing assignments.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina or applicable state.
• BLS Certification.
• ACLS Certification.
• Telemetry competency.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of recent progressive care or stepdown nursing experience.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and rapid patient turnover.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
