Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (3x12 or 4x12) | 18:45–07:15 | 13-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Surgical / Telemetry overflow unit with a target nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5, with occasional 1:6
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and correctly identify and treat dysrhythmias
• Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to restore physiologic stability, prevent complications, and deliver quality patient care
• Document patient care accurately using Epic, utilizing SBAR communication and Pyxis for medication management
• Float to sister units within the facility as needed
• Work every other weekend as required by the unit

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a valid Compact state license
• Minimum of 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required — first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Telemetry skills with demonstrated ability to identify and treat dysrhythmias
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks
• Experience working in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting with CNA team support
• Comfort with floating to similar inpatient units within a facility
