Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | 8-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scrub technologist duties in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) operating room setting
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field, anticipate surgeon needs, and pass instruments during surgical procedures
- Assist with patient positioning, draping, and surgical site preparation
- Ensure proper handling, counting, and documentation of surgical instruments, sponges, and sharps
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification – mandatory
- Minimum of 2 years of surgical technologist experience
- Rapid response availability – must be able to begin assignment with minimal lead time
- No RTO or special scheduling requests will be accommodated for this assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or rapid response assignment experience
- Experience in an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) environment
