- 4 nights per week, 10-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including abdominal Doppler imaging, for patients undergoing renal and liver transplants.
- Operate ultrasound equipment, adhere to protocols, and ensure high-quality imaging.
- Assist clinicians within scope of practice and float between hospital and affiliated site as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all safety and imaging standards, including BLS and ARDMS or ARRT certification requirements.
- Complete all required documentation in the electronic medical record system.
- Work efficiently within a large hospital environment, supporting patient care during night shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- BLS certification.
- ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working at a large healthcare facility.
- Proficiency in abdominal Doppler imaging, particularly for transplant cases.
- Must have completed a prior assignment in a large teaching hospital; first-timers accepted only if coming from similar large teaching environments.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with renal and liver transplant imaging.
- Ability to float between different hospital units within scope.
- Proven experience working in a magnet or Level 1 trauma teaching hospital.
