Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery unit throughout all stages of labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately in the electronic health record
- Adhere to facility compliance requirements and complete all onboarding obligations within designated timeframes
Required Qualifications
- Active Indiana RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- One professional reference from a direct supervisor within the last 12 months (one required to submit, two required to start; charge nurse reference accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech charting system
- Flexible scheduling availability, particularly for those applying as a travel pair
