- Travel, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to surgical, spinal cord injury, burn, and general medical patients on a busy medical floor
- Monitor patient conditions using telemetry systems and respond to patient needs efficiently
- Assist in wound care, bowel programs, and light burn care procedures
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (Meditech)
- Adhere to unit policies and guidelines to maintain compliance and safety
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ACLS certification
- Experience working with spinal cord injury and stage 4 wound care patients
- Knowledge of telemetry monitoring systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
