Key Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services in a pediatric outpatient setting to patients ranging from infants through adolescents
- Conduct evaluations, assessments, reassessments, and discharge planning with accurate SLP evaluation coding
- Develop and implement individualized Plans of Care addressing conditions such as autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders
- Complete billing documentation including Medicaid documentation, evaluations, and ongoing reassessments
- Deliver patient and family education as a core component of the treatment process
- Recognize and respond appropriately to signs and symptoms of physical, sexual, and psychological abuse
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist license (pending license approval accepted)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — American Heart Association required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in a pediatric outpatient setting
- Experience working with pediatric populations including autism, birth defects, developmental delays, and language disorders
- Proficiency with documentation systems including Wellsky and/or Epic
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Epic charting experience strongly preferred
- Experience with Medicaid billing documentation and SLP evaluation coding
- Familiarity working alongside multidisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy and interpretation services
