Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Weekend and rotating holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit with an estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Perform IV insertions and other required clinical skills in accordance with unit standards
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity level within the organization as needed
• Work weekends and rotating holidays as required by unit scheduling

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience required
• Active RN license – valid compact or state license required at time of submission
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring
• Experience with Epic electronic health records required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Comfort with floating to multiple units within a large health system
