Full-time, Day shifts, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assist circulating RN with assessment and care coordination for cardiovascular procedural patients, including recognizing contraindicating drugs and lab values and communicating with the care team
• Document patient information, procedural data, and hemodynamic waveforms accurately in medical records
• Support scrub personnel with equipment setup, maintain sterile technique during procedures, and assist physicians as needed
• Properly dispose of biohazardous materials and contaminated equipment in accordance with safety protocols
• Assist with calculations of valve areas and shunts, and support emergency management and patient transfer procedures when necessary
• Manage access and administration of medications within sterile fields, ensuring correct labeling and documentation
• Demonstrate proficiency in responding to codes and emergencies within the cath lab environment

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Current registration in the state of Kentucky
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• ARRT certification
• Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Course

Preferred Experience / Skills

• One (1) year of invasive vascular experience
