Sleep Study Technologist (Polysomnographer) – Nights

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing procedures
• Record overnight polysomnographic (PSG) and video recordings of patient sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation
• Communicate and coordinate activities with the Sleep Lab section leader and supervisor
• Administer sleep medications in accordance with facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Graduate from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved college program, or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy
• Current, unencumbered Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License — required at time of submission
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential through the BRPT required
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a dedicated sleep center or sleep lab environment
• Familiarity with diagnostic testing related to neurological and sleep disturbance disorders
