Key Responsibilities
- Perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing procedures
- Record overnight polysomnographic (PSG) and video recordings of patient sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation
- Communicate and coordinate activities with the Sleep Lab section leader and supervisor
- Administer sleep medications in accordance with facility policy
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an American Medical Association (AMA) approved college program, or a minimum of one (1) year of experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics, or respiratory therapy
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License — required at time of submission
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential through the BRPT required
- Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a dedicated sleep center or sleep lab environment
- Familiarity with diagnostic testing related to neurological and sleep disturbance disorders
