Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift – Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM (5x8 hours) | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week | No after-hours or weekend call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a cardiac catheterization lab setting at a community hospital
• Circulate during cardiac cath and electrophysiology procedures, maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation throughout procedures
• Monitor patients via telemetry and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Remain available until all scheduled procedures are completed each weekday
• Float to inpatient or pre/post units on a task-only basis when cath lab volumes are low

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license (must be obtained prior to start date)
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; cath lab experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Proficiency in circulating, conscious sedation, and telemetry monitoring
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications (must be obtained prior to start)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers accepted provided cath lab experience requirements are met
• Experience with Meditech charting system
• Familiarity with inpatient or pre/post procedural care settings
