Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of ultrasound scans for patients from infants through adults, including general and limited vascular studies
• Float and provide coverage across inpatient and clinic/ambulatory areas as needed
• Perform procedural imaging support, including para- and thoracentesis procedures
• Operate Siemens and Philips ultrasound equipment and document within Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS
• Work independently as the sole technologist on shift when required, including overnight hours
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active RDMS certification in Abdomen (AB) and OB/GYN required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience
• Ability to work a variable schedule including 12-hour shifts, 10-hour shifts, 7-on/7-off rotations, and weekend-only assignments
• Ability to work independently as the sole technologist in the department

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with procedural ultrasound, specifically paracentesis or thoracentesis, is highly preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Siemens/SECTRA PACS systems
• Experience working in both inpatient and ambulatory/clinic ultrasound settings
