Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a newly established, ground-up unit with 10 beds currently open
• Monitor and interpret bedside telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry readings
• Collaborate with a team comprising 2 RNs and 1 tech per shift to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Cover a combination of stepdown and general medical-surgical responsibilities, with scope to float within the facility as needed
• Participate in a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend commitments
• Utilize Epic for charting and documentation

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license in hand prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in telemetry or medical-surgical units
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Proven experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a community hospital setting
• Ability to adapt quickly to a newly built unit and evolving workflows
• Flexibility to float within scope to meet departmental needs
