Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Operating Room

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) | 5x8 Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist in a variety of surgical procedures including robotic cholecystectomy, appendectomy, and hernia repair
• Support orthopedic procedures including total joint replacements
• Assist with spine procedures such as laminectomy and kyphoplasty, as well as carpal tunnel releases
• Participate in endoscopic procedures including colonoscopy and EGD
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio within a 3-bed surgical unit
• Fulfill on-call obligations, approximately 10–15 days per month, including one weekday per week and one weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Required Qualifications

• Active NBSTSA CST Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist
• Demonstrated experience in robotics-assisted surgery
• Experience in orthopedic surgical procedures
• Experience in spine surgery procedures
• Experience in podiatry and endoscopy (colonoscopy/EGD)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Meditech Expanse EMR system
• Ability to adapt to variable call volumes as unit staffing and case load fluctuate
