Registered Nurse ICU

Job Title

• Travel RN - Surgical ICU (SICU)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing care for ICU/Surgical ICU patients, including trauma, post-CABG, and post-TAVR cases
• Monitor and operate specialized equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO
• Administer medications and manage central lines, chest tubes, and other post-surgical procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care in compliance with hospital policies and electronic medical records

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-year recent ICU experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Valid RN license to practice in Kansas
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Experience with Meditech EMR system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification
• Prior travel experience at large trauma facilities
• Familiarity with high-acuity patient management and advanced cardiac procedures
