Contract | Days, 06:45–19:15 | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a hospital Medical/Surgical unit
- Administer and monitor intravenous drip medications within scope of practice
- Float within scope to the Emergency Department as needed
- Participate in weekend coverage, with 2 weekends per month required
- Fulfill on-call obligations of 1 shift per month
- Rotate through holiday scheduling as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license or valid Compact RN license
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of hospital Medical/Surgical experience
- New graduates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing IV drip medications such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem
- Familiarity with Emergency Department workflows
