Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, as needed to meet facility demands
• Deliver critical care respiratory support to patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
• Operate within full scope of practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Participate in holiday rotation scheduling as required by the facility
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and patient charting

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience, with critical care experience required
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications must be in hand at time of start
• NBRC (RRT) national certification required and must be in hand at time of start
• Ability to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery, within scope of practice

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large, acute care hospital setting (approximately 396 staffed beds)
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record charting system
• Awareness of and preparedness for hurricane season emergency response responsibilities (June through November)
