Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU at a Trauma III designated facility with a 2:1 patient ratio
• Manage ventilator settings and sedation protocols for critically ill patients
• Perform and assist with unit-level procedures including tracheostomy placement, bronchoscopy, and cardioversion
• Titrate vasoactive and other critical care medications in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
• Document all patient care activities using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Adhere to patient experience standards including AIDET communication, completion of communication boards, and medication teaching

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficiency with GE Monitors, Nova glucometers, Pyxis medication dispensing systems, and Draeger ventilators
• Experience with ventilator and sedation management and medication titration
• Ability to float in rotation with full-time staff and other travelers per unit policy

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU setting
• Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records documentation
• Experience in a Trauma III or higher designated facility
