Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
- Perform IV starts and administer medications accurately and safely
- Monitor patients and interpret telemetry data, escalating concerns as appropriate
- Collect and review laboratory results and communicate findings to the care team
- Deliver patient and family education related to diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
- Document all care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing experience
- Valid RN license (compact or Ohio state license) required at time of submission
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification
