Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of ultrasound procedures including abdominal, gynecological, obstetric, neonatal, superficial structures, and vascular studies across normal and pathological presentations
• Conduct OB imaging across all trimesters including amniocentesis, biophysical profiles, gestational age assessment, and identification of abnormalities
• Perform vascular studies including carotid duplex, segmental pressure studies, and upper and lower extremity venous and arterial duplex
• Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and intraoperative imaging
• Operate department imaging equipment including Canon i700, Meditech EMR, and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Work 40-hour rotating shifts with on-call responsibilities and float to other units or departments as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a full-time sonographer in an acute hospital setting
• At least one prior travel or contract assignment
• ARDMS certification required with registries in Abdomen (AB), Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB), and Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — must be American Heart Association (AHA) certified
• Competency to proficiency across abdominal, GYN, OB, neonatal, superficial structure, and vascular ultrasound imaging

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Canon ultrasound equipment and Fuji Synapse PACS
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems
• Experience performing transvaginal, pediatric, and neonatal head imaging including congenital anomaly assessment
