Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech (Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics)

Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform polysomnography and sleep studies across a full range of study types including PSG, MWT, MSLT, titration, and mask fitting for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Monitor and score respiratory events, sleep stages, cardiac abnormalities, periodic limb movements, and related parameters including ECG, EEG, O2 saturation, End-Tidal CO2, TCO2, and Respiratory Inductance Plethysmography (RIP)
- Manage a patient load of 2–3 patients within a 9-room sleep lab environment
- Document and chart patient data accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Float between two affiliated metro facilities as required
- Operate Natus Sleep Works sleep diagnostic equipment
Required Qualifications
- Active RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) certification required
- RRT or SDS credential required
- Current BLS certification (AHA) required
- Minimum of 2 years of polysomnography/sleep tech experience
- Experience with the full spectrum of sleep study types including complex sleep apnea, Cheyne-Stokes, hypopnea, hypoventilation, and periodic breathing
- Valid state license (pending license approval accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Natus Sleep Works equipment
- Epic electronic health records charting experience
- Prior travel or float experience across multiple facilities
