IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Contract | Days | Onsite | 4x10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with rotating day off; 5x8-hour shifts may be considered | Weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation required | 30-minute call response time

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure suites and ensure proper radiation safety setup prior to cases
• Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamic monitoring equipment; pull and manage supplies
• Set up sterile tables and scrub in to assist physicians with IR and vascular procedures including port placements, liver biopsies, IVC placements, G-tube placements, PICC and central line placements, and neuro cases such as coiling, thrombectomy, and embolizations
• Assist with vascular procedures including fem-pops, AAA repair, carotids, EVAR, and angios; manage radiation dose and imaging angles throughout cases
• Perform sheath removals and complete room turnover including cleaning and restocking
• Participate in weeknight, weekend, and holiday call rotation; hybrid support for vascular cases as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology experience
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Proficiency with fluoroscopy equipment and hemodynamic monitoring systems
• Ability to scrub in and assist with a broad range of IR, vascular, and neuro procedures
• Must be able to meet a 30-minute call response time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner and Merge EMR systems
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment
• Experience across multiple lab environments including cath lab, EP, and IR/vascular suites
