Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Therapist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a neuro diagnostics setting
• Deliver patient care during overnight shifts in accordance with facility protocols and scope of practice
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Float within scope of practice to other units within the facility as needed
• Adhere to all compliance, credentialing, and facility policy requirements throughout the duration of the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Active Virginia state license required; pending license considered provided a temporary license can be obtained prior to start date and applicant holds an active license in another state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required; 4 years strongly preferred
• Epic electronic health records experience required
• References required at time of submission

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• 4 or more years of respiratory therapy experience
