Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Tuesday through Friday, 06:30–17:00
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting
- Float to all OR suites as needed
- Perform scrub and/or circulating duties across assigned surgical specialties
- Participate in on-call coverage as required
- Complete orientation including in-person and EPIC training during the onboarding period
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas or Compact RN license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency in at least one of the following specialties: ENT (trach/airways, head/neck flaps, ears, soft tissue cases), Neuro (burr holes, craniotomy), or Surgical Oncology (robotics)
- Prior OR experience required; new graduates will not be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level I trauma experience
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
