Travel RN – PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days (9:00 AM – 9:00 PM) | Onsite | Projected Start: September 7, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide post-anesthesia nursing care to patients recovering from a variety of surgical procedures including craniotomies and orthopedic surgeries
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1 depending on patient acuity and condition
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members during day shift operations
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation with a required 30-minute response time when on call
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PACU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Flexibility with scheduling and hours
- Ability to remain calm under pressure with a strong focus on patient experience
