Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and compassionate patient care in a Med/Surg/Neuro setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including starting IVs and basic wound care
- Maintain accuracy in documentation using Meditech system
- Support patients with surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes as needed
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to prioritize patient care and safety
- Engage patients and families in care plans, delivering bedside shift reports
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Medical Surgical or Neuro experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or Stroke certified hospital
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong patient communication skills
