Travel Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM | Projected Start: 06/22/2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to patients on a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Manage a caseload of 4–6 patients, treating an average of 3–4 patients per day
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress using the Meditech documentation system
- Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and the BITS interactive computer system
- Perform wound care procedures as required on the unit
- Participate in weekend rotation, covering 2 weekends during the 13-week assignment with 2 compensatory days off during the week
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1–2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency with electronic documentation systems
- Ability to adhere to dress code: black scrubs and closed-toe shoes
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
- Familiarity with the Care Tool assessment instrument
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
