Travel Occupational Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services to patients on a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Manage a caseload of 4–6 patients, treating an average of 3–4 patients per day
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and document progress using the Meditech documentation system
• Utilize specialized rehabilitation equipment including hi-low mats, NuStep, parallel bars, steps, weights, car simulator, Bioness L200 and H300, and the BITS interactive computer system
• Perform wound care procedures as required on the unit
• Participate in weekend rotation, covering 2 weekends during the 13-week assignment with 2 compensatory days off during the week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of occupational therapy experience
• Active Occupational Therapist licensure in good standing
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with electronic documentation systems
• Ability to adhere to dress code: black scrubs and closed-toe shoes

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Familiarity with the Care Tool assessment instrument
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
