Job Title

• Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Travel)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days, 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a busy operating room environment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Assist with preparing operating rooms and equipment for various procedures.
• Support patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Completion of Perioperative Nursing (RN PeriOp 101) course.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent OR nursing experience.
• Experience in orthopedic and trauma procedures.
• Ability to take calls 4-6 times per month, including upcoming holidays.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with orthopedic and trauma experience.
• Prior experience working in a busy operating room setting.
