Key Responsibilities
• Develop, organize, implement, and evaluate nursing education and professional development programs across the health system.
• Serve as a nurse planner for continuing education approved by the Montana Nurses Association and meet ANCC criteria.
• Promote evidence-based practice and serve as a program administrator for nursing procedures and standards.
• Facilitate orientation, precepting, transition to practice programs, simulations, competency validation, and ongoing education initiatives.
• Ensure all education programs meet regulatory and organizational compliance requirements, including DNV standards.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Montana Registered Nurse licensure
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience or equivalent healthcare teaching experience
• At least 1 year of experience in education, training, or leadership roles in healthcare settings
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Instructor certification from the American Heart Association (AHA), TNCC, ENPC, NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E., or TeamSTEPPS
• Certification in Nursing Professional Development or relevant specialty area
• 1 year of experience as a clinical nurse educator or staff development professional
