Travel RN – ICU/CCU (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week | Projected Start: 07/20/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU with a 2:1 patient ratio (3:1 at times based on census)
• Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Impella, GE monitors, Temporary Pacemakers, EKOS, IABP, Artic Sun, and hemodynamic monitoring devices
• Assist with and support procedures including central line insertions and dialysis catheter insertions
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Float in rotation with core staffing as needed per unit floating policy
• Apply critical thinking and self-motivation to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced critical care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Kentucky (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU/CCU experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Proficiency with critical care equipment and hemodynamic monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification
• Experience with Meditech documentation system
• Familiarity with Impella, IABP, EKOS, or Artic Sun devices
• Experience working in a collaborative, mixed-acuity critical care team environment
