Key Responsibilities
- Administer school-wide trimesterly and Universal Screener assessments; lead data team meetings to analyze results, identify students needing additional supports, and adjust intervention groupings
- Develop, revise, and implement standards-aligned curricula, lesson and unit plans, and interim assessments aligned to academic targets and Common Core
- Refine and monitor RTI Tier II and Tier III frameworks and procedures school-wide, including coordination with online learning platforms
- Observe teachers and interventionists, provide specific feedback for improvement, and lead professional development sessions focused on best practices
- Regularly deliver intervention lessons to struggling students across all grade levels and provide classroom coverage support as needed
- Develop frameworks and procedures for Support Team referrals, data collection, and action plans; oversee school-wide tracking and re-teaching frameworks
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Valid Tennessee Teaching Certification in Special Education
- Minimum of two years of teaching experience in an urban public school setting
- Experience working with students with a range of disabilities, including learning disabilities, autism, and developmental delays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Demonstrated track record of producing measurable student achievement gains
- Experience analyzing student assessment data to identify trends and develop targeted intervention plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with students, families, and colleagues
- Goal-driven, analytical problem-solving approach with a commitment to continuous improvement and openness to feedback
