Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Approximately 4–7 days of call per month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 5-procedure-room Endoscopy unit maintaining a 1:1 patient ratio
- Assist with and support endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, EUS, bronchoscopy, and EBUS
- Perform and support endoscope reprocessing in accordance with unit protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and endoscopy technicians on the day shift
- Accurately document patient care and procedure information using Meditech EMR
- Participate in on-call rotation as required by unit scheduling needs
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid for practice in Texas
- Minimum 1 year of endoscopy nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience with colonoscopy and EGD procedures
- Experience with ERCP and EUS procedures
- Experience with ION, bronchoscopy, and/or EBUS procedures
- Proficiency in endoscope reprocessing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR system
- Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced endoscopy or GI procedural setting
- Comfort with on-call responsibilities in a clinical environment
