Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Weekends required (every other weekend)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting within a short-term acute care facility
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4, delivering safe and effective nursing care
• Float to other units within the facility or to affiliate facilities based on staffing needs and individual skill set
• Accurately document all patient care activities using Epic electronic health records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes across varying acuity levels

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon (may submit with license pending)
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records (required prior to start)
• Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
• Willingness to float to other units or affiliate facilities as needed; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care or emergency room environment
• Familiarity with multi-site healthcare systems and cross-facility float protocols
