• Full-time, Days, 5 shifts per week, 8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer physical therapy treatment to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain, improve function, and promote healing.
• Deliver treatments in accordance with an established plan of care under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record treatments provided and track patient progress in medical records.
• Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy interventions.
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Complete all required documentation following company policies and state/federal regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Empathy, patience, and compassion when working with patients.
• Physical stamina to assist with patient movement and exercises.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Confirmed SNF post-graduate experience.
• Proficiency with PCC/NetHealth documentation systems.
• Experience conducting evaluations in fast-paced, high-volume settings.
