Job Title

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shift, 13-week travel assignment, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of routine and advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures.
• Support and assist other imaging technologists as needed to maintain efficient patient flow.
• Troubleshoot basic equipment issues, participate in quality assurance activities, and resolve technical problems related to image processing and archiving systems.
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, handle radionuclides and pharmaceuticals responsibly, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Maintain detailed logs and perform periodic safety tests as required by licensing.
• Demonstrate flexibility by working additional shifts or at different campuses as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent.
• ARRT (N) certification or NMTCB registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• Valid state licensure in Texas (TMBBLS required).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical nuclear medicine preferred.
• Basic computer literacy.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PACS systems and downtime procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and report equipment malfunctions efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and professional behavior that aligns with organizational values.

Note: This position is a backfill replacement and requires working until all cases are completed daily. On-call and weekend shifts are required.
