Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Step-Down / IMC unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Manage and titrate vasopressors, sedation medications, and insulin drips
- Care for patients requiring tracheostomy ventilator management, arterial lines, external pacemakers, and chest tubes
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition in an acute care hospital setting
- Float to lower-acuity floors within scope of practice to meet facility needs as needed
- Fulfill weekend rotation requirements (Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday on night shift, every other weekend)
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in Missouri or a qualifying compact state (must match permanent residence)
- Minimum 2 years of Step-Down / IMC / PCU bedside experience
- Must have been actively practicing at the bedside within the last 6 months
- Demonstrated experience with vents, titration of pressors, and insulin drips
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with external pacemakers, arterial lines, and chest tube management
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance processes and module-based onboarding
- Experience in an acute care hospital environment with 200+ staffed beds
