Registered Nurse - Operating Room
Location: Lubbock, TX
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room environment.
  • Assist during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond to intraoperative needs.
  • Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient information.
  • Adhere to strict infection control and safety standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid state RN license (compact license accepted).
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including weekends.
  • Willingness to float between units and facilities as needed.
  • Must have experience with OR, Neuro, General, XI/DV5 Robot, and Trauma procedures.
  • Current BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Experience in a Level II Trauma Center.
  • Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with hospital dress code and parking protocols.
