Schedule / Job Type
- 13-week travel assignment, 36 hours per week, Nights shift
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dialysis treatments to patients on the fourth floor of a regional hospital and main hospital campus.
- Prepare and perform bedside and peritoneal dialysis procedures.
- Collaborate with dialysis team to ensure patient safety and effective care ratios (1:2 or 1:3 with CCHT).
- Utilize Fresenius and Gambro dialysis machines; training provided if needed.
- Float between units and hospitals as required, including holidays and alternate weekends.
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Valid RN license in Alabama or a valid compact license (no temporary licenses accepted).
- Current BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
- Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 recent year in dialysis.
- Basic proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehending).
- Valid NURSYS credentialing.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Professional nursing certification in dialysis.
- Experience with Fresenius or Gambro dialysis machines.
- Ability to float across different units and locations as needed.
