Contract | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on an Orthopedic and North Surgical unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for orthopedic and surgical patients
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard scheduling rotation
- Float to clinically appropriate Med-Surg departments as needed, within scope of practice, licensure, and demonstrated competencies
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Ability and willingness to float to other Medical-Surgical departments as required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an orthopedic, surgical, or Medical-Surgical nursing setting
- Familiarity with post-operative patient care and orthopedic procedures
