Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR Core 3 & 4)

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a high-volume OR environment covering specialties including General, Plastics, GYN, ENT, Trauma, Neuro, Ortho, GU, Colorectal, and Robotics
• Perform circulator duties as required; scrub duties preferred
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across the OR and affiliated units
• Participate in on-call coverage, averaging 40–60 hours per 6-week period
• Work required holiday shifts, including 2 out of 3 major holidays per contract
• Document patient care accurately using electronic health record systems

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of OR RN experience required
• Level I Trauma experience required; candidates with at least 1 year of Level I Trauma experience may be considered with a minimum of 2 years total OR experience
• Circulator experience required; scrub experience preferred
• Active RN license for Indiana, a compact state, or a temporary Indiana license required at time of start
• BLS certification required
• Must be well-rounded across most OR specialties (CV and Transplant experience not required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in addition to circulator skills
• Experience with robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records
