Contract | Nights | 5x8-Hour Shifts (10:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Onsite | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a Long Term Care and Transitional Care Unit (TCU) setting
• Perform central line blood draws, central line dressing changes, IV pump management, and IV starts
• Float between the Transitional Care Unit and other Long Term Care units as needed (approximately 3 shifts per 24-hour cycle in TCU)
• Manage a patient ratio of approximately 1:15–25 residents per shift
• Document patient care accurately using facility charting systems
• Adhere to facility dress code, scent-free policy, and professional workplace standards

Required Qualifications

• Active LVN / LPN license (pending license considered)
• Minimum 2 years of Skilled Long Term Care or Transitional Care experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with IV therapy, IV pumps, central line blood draws, and central line dressing changes
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience (first-time travelers not accepted)
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Reliable personal transportation required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating between multiple unit types within a long term care environment
• Familiarity with Net Solutions or similar electronic charting platforms
• Flexibility to accommodate a block schedule arrangement
