Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in IMC/PCU/Stepdown units
- Monitor patient vital signs and interpret telemetry data
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies
- Manage central lines, PICC lines, and feeding tubes
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement patient care plans
- Adhere to infection prevention protocols and patient fall prevention measures
Required Qualifications
- Valid Ohio or Compact State RN license
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience in a hospital setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology certification (ONS Chemo)
- NIHSS certification
- Experience with rapid response teams and emergency protocols
