Cath Lab Technologist (Radiology/Cardiology – Cath Lab/EP)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10 Hours (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required (1 call day per week; 1 weekend every 5–6 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures in a short-term acute care setting
- Assist with interventional procedures including PCI (stents, balloon angioplasty, laser, rotational atherectomy, Impella, IABP, CTO)
- Support Structural Heart procedures including TAVR, Balloon Valvuloplasty, and Watchman device implantation
- Participate in Electrophysiology procedures including EPS, Afib/Flutter ablations, BiV and pacemaker implants
- Fulfill on-call responsibilities as scheduled, including weekends on a rotating basis
- Document and chart patient care activities using EPIC
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ARRT-R or CCI RCIS certification required
- Active Washington State Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CIS) license required; pending licensure not accepted
- Candidates must not have a permanent residence within 50 miles of the facility to be eligible for a travel contract
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
- Prior experience in a high-volume or acute care Cath Lab environment
