Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Heart Station
Location
Toledo, OH
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday with Saturday rotation | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (5x8 Hours) | No other weekends, holidays, or call
Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures within the Heart Station department
- Conduct SPECT imaging studies with accuracy and adherence to established protocols
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment and related computer systems
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with departmental and regulatory guidelines
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in an Allied Health Field
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine, or Board Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
- Active Nuclear Medicine Technologist license in the State of Ohio
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum of one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One or more years of experience in Nuclear Cardiology with emphasis on SPECT imaging
- Proficiency with nuclear medicine computer systems and imaging software
