Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care / Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6
• Float within service line scope as needed to meet facility staffing needs
• Participate in every-other-weekend scheduling and on-call rotations as required
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license – IL license required in hand at time of submittal; compact license must match permanent residence
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a relevant clinical setting
• Current ACLS certification required by compliance deadline
• Current BCLS (BLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Ability to fulfill on-call requirements as assigned

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or intermediate care unit setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
• Experience as a travel nurse with ability to adapt quickly to new environments
