Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Stepdown/IMC/PCU

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 days per week, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult populations in the stepdown/IMC/PCU units.
• Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, including ECG rhythm recognition.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in electronic health records.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio RN license or active compact state license.
• Minimum of 18 months combined perm experience in stepdown or IMC/PCU units (recent travel experience acceptable).
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Pass all required drug screens, background checks, and necessary compliance protocols.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience in a hospital stepdown or progressive care unit.
• Experience working in medical-surgical or ICU settings.
