Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric General Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform triage, cardiac monitoring, and management of dysrhythmias and multisystem organ dysfunction or failure
• Manage central line care, continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, and IV therapy/phlebotomy
• Support respiratory management including CPAP/BiPAP and ventilated patients
• Maintain isolation precautions and respond to emergency situations as required
• Fulfill charge RN assignments and holiday shifts as needed; float between ED Hold area, departments, units, and facilities as required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience
• Active RN license — both Kansas and Missouri licensure (or compact license covering both states) required at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC
• Ability to work 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period (combination of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not accepted
• No pending licenses accepted; active licensure required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a STEMI-certified or Stroke-certified facility
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and arterial blood gases (ABGs)
• Arterial line management experience
• CPI and MAB certifications
