Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Float Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department oncology pod setting
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 throughout assigned shifts
- Perform proficient IV starts and manage telemetry monitoring
- Float within the department as required based on staffing and patient needs
- Document accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Proficiency in EPIC electronic health records system
- Valid RN compact or state license in hand at time of submission
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Active certifications required: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology nursing experience
- Familiarity with oncology patient populations in an emergency care setting
