Job Title

• Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in an IMC/PCU/Stepdown setting.
• Monitor patient status, administer medications, and document care using EPIC system.
• Conduct common procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Float within OSU to meet unit staffing needs and ensure seamless patient care.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state nursing license in Ohio.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years recent PCU or similar experience.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Proficiency with EPIC documentation and Pyxis medication system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse or leadership experience.
• Previous experience in teaching hospitals.
• Familiarity with burn, plastic/reconstructive, urology, GYN, ENT, or oral/maxillofacial surgeries.
• Experience working with special procedures such as burn dressings and flap checks.
