Hospice Inpatient Registered Nurse – Days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in a 12-bed inpatient hospice facility
• Manage pain and other symptoms for patients in the final stages of illness
• Support patients and family members through end-of-life care, including respite care and room and board services
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including medical social services, spiritual support, hospice aides, and trained volunteers
• Coordinate appropriate medications and equipment as part of the patient care plan

Required Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Oregon RN license required at time of submission
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Previous home health, hospice, or case management experience preferred
• Broad-based nursing experience with specialized skills applicable to hospice or home health nursing preferred
